How does the teachings of Jesus relate to Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection as portrayed in the gospels?
This is a question i have for one of my classes. you dont have to give an answer versus from the Bible work well too! thanks
Jesus taught that man could not be justified by the works of the Law. So God, in His mercy, sent His only Son as a sacrifice for sin. He taught many times that the Son was to be killed by those He came to save.
“Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Probably they will respect him when they see him.’ But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’”
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
Jesus began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
