Marriage After Divorce Waiting Period
I am getting married on Jan 26,2007. we live in texas, do we have to obtain a marriage license ? Is there?
a waiting period after your divorce is final before you can marry again? My fiance has been seperated for 8 years, and his court date is Jan 8. We are ready to get married but not sure of legalities.
You still have to get a license, although it doesn’t have to come from the county you live in or get married in.
I lived and got married in Dallas County, but the Rockwall County courthouse was closer, so that’s where we got our license……….
