Life To Death

Baseball isn’t life & death, but in life & death we remember the game. Can someone give me an origin to this?

The quote actually longer, but I had limited space. “Baseball is not life and death, but in life and death we remember the game and those who shared the game with us.” It seems like it was a voice over narration at the beginning of a movie, but any information about this would help me a ton.

Might be from Field of Dreams the movie. Not sure but it would fit with the plot.
