I was going through net, and i came to know about ur writings on marriage and divorce act & its Laws in US. I have a question and would request if you can help me.
I have a divorce decree as per INDIAN law and will be marring US citizen. I was wondering what proof i should submit at the time of my PI with INS.
Also i have heard some cases were in divorce was legal but the INDIAN system was not helpful to give a proper help to US official while they were checking records in INIDA for its official record, as the result his marriage to US citizen was said to be sham and actually it was not.
I was wondering if you can help me as by which means US offical check divorce records in INDIA to make sure that divorce is not sham.
Cause i am worried if this happens with me than i and my would be wife (US citizen) will be in problem.
Please help me for the same.
