I am 28 years old and I want to be like how I used to be, fit and healthy, over the past few years I have let myself go a bit. I am 5″11 and around 17 stone, however to look at me I have no big belly etc, as I am quite solid, nice legs etc..

Anyways I want to get down to around 13 / 14 stone, I want to get back in my 32/32 jeans 🙂 Now I struggle with 36/32.

I bought a bike and some weights, and I have stopped smoking. At present I really dont eat a lot, I have bowl of breakfast in morning with banana and pint of water, and then that is me until dinner time where I try to have things with vegetables etc and peice of fruit for dessert.

What would be my best way to exercise, with the equipment I have, bike, walking, weights. Also what else, sit-ups etc, how do I start it all out, what I guess I am looking for is a routine that I can follow, and something that will really make me good, sweat hard etc, but also take in account I am out of shape.


One thing that would really help you is to eat more frequently through the day. When you go long periods without eating your body wants to hold on to the fat it has stored and not let it go. Then by the time you eat again you end up eating more because your body goes into starvation mode. Eating smaller meals more often will keep your metabolism going throughout the day and burn more calories.

I walk at least 4 times a week for about an hour at a quicker pace. I also bought The Transfirmer by The Firm which is a step style equipment you use with handweights.
