should divorce be made easier?
er- not emotionally, but legally.
Uh, no, in my opinion, and you are free to disagree. It should be made more difficult.
It changes the lives of more than one person.
Fidelity should matter as well. If you want out, I’m all for letting an unhappy partner out.
However, for an unhappy partner to get to split the stuff and the kids when he/she refuses to really work on the marriage stinks.
So, let them leave if they want, but make it hard to take the kids, house and money away from the faithful husband or wife who doesn’t beat, doesn’t cheat and doesn’t quit when the going gets tough or the grass looks greener elsewhere.
