Which divorce laws do I follow if I got married in NM but now live in PA?
I got married in New Mexico and now live in Pennsylvania. If I want to get a divorce do I need to follow the divorce laws in New Mexico or Pennsylvania?
You file for divorce in your state of residency, this is usually where you have lived for at least 6 months, depending on your state. Where you married has nothing to do with the divorce.
