did catholic and chritianity steel the belief of life after death from the religion before jesus christ and go?
No. The Catholic Church didn’t “steal” anything.
Neither the ideals of life after death nor the desire for immortality are anything new to humanity.
Reason being, it is part of our spiritual nature to be immortal. Humanity could “sense” this reality even while it could not explain where it came from.
Only after God began to reveal Himself to humanity, first to the Ancient Hebrews via the Old Covanent and then to the Christians via the New Convanent have we begun to understand something about our souls’ immortal nature.
