Beliefs In Life After Death
How did people ever come to imagine something so odd as ‘life after death’?
It seems to me a strange denial of reality, to suppose that death is anything other than the end of you. How did a belief in ‘life after death’ (an oxymoron if ever there was one) come about?
Out of a fear of death.
No one really looks forward to an end of life.
