where to get cheap peasanty clothing needed for villager costume scene in beauty and the beast play?

My high school is performing Beauty and the Beast, and i need to find some “villager” like clothing, but don’t want to spend a lot. Any ideas of where i can get such clothing,
try the goodwill or a thrift store and get creative!
