Can anyone name this TV show from the 1990s, about an old man (storyteller) who narrates fairy tales?
I remember watching it back when I was a kid. The stories begin with an old man, by a fireplace I think, with an assistant. He tells fairy tales but then has an added twist to it.
I can vaguely remember, about an episode of Cinderella, where there were a lot of birds who made her beautiful dress. There was also Beauty and the Beast, among others. A different kind of story, less Disney. Possibly a British TV production.
