Problem with a movie I downloaded from BitTorrent?

I downloaded “Beauty and the Beast” from BitTorrent. I had this problem before, but I can’t talk to the person who fixed it. The movie finished downloading and I went to play it. It opened up with Windows Media Player. I had excellent audio. But, I had no video at all. I don’t remember how to get it to play audio and video. Do I need a video converting program (like to convert it to avi)? Do I have to download a divx video player? What about a codec? Can someone please help me? It would be much appreciated.
